Jalapa de Díaz is located in the north of the state of Oaxaca. Its textile art is spectacular, and we are fortunate that Ms. Adelina, her family, and community collaborate with us to give meaning to our Mexicanartes garments.

Their textile art is inspired by the landscapes, flora, and fauna. They draw on fabric and embroider with cotton thread. Each garment can take up to eight weeks to make.

And today we want you to meet Adelina and her mother Antonia Suárez, wonderful artisans, Mexican pride.

And we are so grateful for their lives, their art, and for giving meaning and value to this dream that is Mexicanartes.
