Cira and Ángeles, aunt and niece, talented artisans originally from the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, Mexico. 

They create the hand-embroidered Tapatío Dress and Tapatío Blouse, emblematic garments for their significance in Mexican arts, since it was our first design.

Their contribution to the Mexicanartes team over the past few years has been invaluable, and we are proud and very grateful.

Each stitch reflects their skill and passion, its cultural significance and its connection to the region's history and identity.

Cira and Ángeles are part of a family and community tradition in which generations have dedicated their time and talent to the authentic and unique creation of their embroidery.
